The IARLJ extends its congratulations to Australian member, the Hon. Justice
Cathy Branson, on her appointment as President of the Human Rights and Equal
Opportunities Commission (HREOC). Justice Branson leaves the Federal Court of
Australia after 14 years in order to take up this challenging new role as the
full-time head of the national human rights organisation.
