Michigan Law School has produced four sets of guidelines addressing difficult
areas of refugee law in a concerted effort to contribute to the synthesis of a
more unified approach in international jurisprudence.
The World Conference held in Cape Town has been a great success.

Report on UNHCR Training in Bogota

As per an invitation from the UNHCR office in San Jose Costa Rica,
I attended the 6th regional training course (this course has been held
each year for the past several years in different locales) on Convention
Refugee determination procedures held in Bogota Colombia. I was
introduced as an observer/facilitator from the IARLJ and took a place at the
